Our awesome, luxury home shows like new. It was originally built in 2007 and was purchased by ourselves in November 2015. The villa was then completely remodelled and fitted out with brand new, tasteful furniture and top end stainless kitchen appliances. On entering the villa, you will be struck by the taste and elegance of the open plan layout and see the care and detail taken to fully furnish the home, to an extremely high standard. Every item was purchased brand new, including all top of the range stainless steel kitchen appliances and is also equipped with everything you could possibly wish for, as well as ourselves, in making this the most perfect and enjoyable holiday. The villa is fully air conditioned, together with the bonus of ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms. The formal dining room, set for 6 people, has a quiet elegance, allowing for that special dining occasion. This leads to the living room, with its super comfortable sectional sofa, occasional tables, 40" Cable TV, DVD Player and CD sound system. The delightful, breakfast nook, a lovely brekkie or lunch can be enjoyed here. There has seating for 4 people and overlooks the double, glass sliding doors, which takes you to the shaded lanai. You can't help but be drawn immediately to the stunning, individually designed and rather unique shaped swimming pool. This truly south facing, extremely spacious area benefits from tons of sunshine, morning, noon and night. Here you will find everything you need for outdoor living, R&R, or even, for the more energetic, entertainment guests. The use of an all singing and all dancing BBQ is also available for your enjoyment. In the shaded lanai there is a patio dining table and 6 chairs, including 2 loungers. Together with the most comfortable "bungee” loungers added for extra comfort. You will find it difficult to rouse yourself once you grab a book or a glass of vino, or just lie back and let "The Waterside Retreat" work it's magic. It is most definitely all about the view. Amazing doesn't even cover it. Overlooking a fast flowing fresh water canal, it is a haven of peace, tranquility and a magnet to spot any wildlife, including gators, turtles and the many species of birds attracted to this area. The kitchen is fully equipped, including an American fridge/freezer, which has the option of a filtered water/ice making facility, huge electric range, microwave and dish washer. Pots and pans galore are just some of the many other items, for the in-house chef. There is also a breakfast bar,which overlooks the lanai and pool area, with three bar stools, which is ideal for that snack on the go. If it is possible to tear yourself away from the gorgeous views. The Master Bedroom is completely separate from the other bedrooms and has the benefit of double French doors, again with truly stunning views, leading out to the very private, fully screened lanai/pool area. The beautiful and extremely stylish furniture comprises a stylish Queen Bed, night tables, console and there is also a 40" Cable TV & DVD player for your enjoyment. The ensuite, which shows like a top class hotel, has been elegantly tiled with a large garden bathtub and a very spacious walk in shower. There is a double sink, super handy and very useful shaver point just adds that little extra comfort. A vast dressing area is a handy addition here also. There so much closet space, even the most best dressed lady would find difficult to fill. So bring as many shoes as you can pack ladies. However, with all of the incredible Shopping Malls nearby, you are more than welcome to fill the space, no excuses needed now for that little indulgence to take back home really. There is a truly luxurious, restful feel to both of these extremely spacious rooms. The huge, walk in wardrobe is also a welcome addition. So bring as many shoes as you can pack girls. Two individual shelving wardrobes are also located here in this room. The 2nd Guest Bedroom also has an extremely stylish appearance, with a Queen Bed, night tables and 32" Cable TV. It also benefits from a large walk in closet. The third bedroom, which has now become fondly known as "The London Room" as our quests have named it, has twin beds, night table, dresser and also benefits from a 32" Cable TV. Again, there is the benefit of a double closet. It is such a fun space. The two beautifully tiled family bathrooms are located in order to provide private use for each of these two bedrooms. One allowing for pool access, which proves so convenient when using the pool area at any time. All towels are provided for all bathrooms and separate beach towels for use at the beach. The double garage has an automatic door opener, 3 adult bikes, wheeled cooler, portable cooler, beach umbrella and six beach chairs, for that all important day at the many beaches on offer in the area. Last but not least, the all important laundry room, which has a brand new washer, dryer, iron and ironing board (still to be tested!), but the use of this is entirely optional, not compulsory! This home shows like a dream. After 24 years spent holidaying in Florida, we couldn't resist the allure of Rotonda and we are sure you will discover the delights for yourself. Our beautiful, family home is located in the peaceful and super neighbourhood friendly community of Rotonda West. Part of a nature conservation area, near Englewood on Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast.
Amongst the many treasures on offer, the Rotonda area is surrounded by many golf courses to suit every level. Including one floodlit course which is less than a 10 min drive away. The community has numerous walking and cycle tracks (you won't need to hire bicycles, we provide 2 adult bikes) with an abundance of fresh water canals (quite literally on your doorstep), as this provides your stunning backdrop of the delightful view from our pool/lanai area). Therefore, providing good fishing on your doorstep. Tennis courts are also on hand for the more energetic. A small play park for the kiddies is also nearby, with plenty of fresh, cold water taps to quench anyone's thirst. However, if beaches are what you desire, (and who doesn't?), then look no further. The choice is endless. A different one every day and more. There really is something for every taste to be found in this beautiful area. Once discovered, it is a place you will happily return to again and again, as a huge number of our guests choose to do so, it is a truly addictive experience! Five minutes drive away is the picture postcard town of Englewood. Here you will experience the old fashioned feeling of days gone by at the seaside. This pretty and very quaint town has a number of excellent beaches including Stump Pass beach. Close to the beaches are a number of excellent bars and eating establishments. Our favourite 'go to place' though, and that of many of our guests is the beautiful beach at Boca Grande. It rivals any Caribbean vista.
For those seeking a Theme Park day out, Busch Gardens (said by many to be the No 1 Theme Park in Florida), along with its sister water park which is located across the street from this theme park, (see if you agree) is approx. 1.5hrs drive away. The Theme Parks of Orlando are approx. 2.5hrs drive. To the South are the Everglades (2hrs drive ) and the Cities of Naples (1.5hrs drive), this stunning location has something to suit every taste and who can resist the excitement of Miami (3hrs drive).
Boca Grande and Palm Island are a very short drive away for those seeking tranquility. Further afield are Sanibel Island, Captiva Island and Siesta Key (South of Sarasota). Siesta Key is rated one of the top ten beaches in North America. There truly is something for every holidaymaker!
The villa is 20 mins from The Port Charlotte Shopping Mall (largest in SW Florida), 30 mins from Venice, 45 mins from Sarasota and Cape Coral, 1.20hr from Tampa and Fort Myers Airports.

It's been 5 years since we last stayed at Vonne's (owing to covid & family illness) but the villa is just as pristine & immaculate at it was then. It has absolutely everything you could ever need, even a washing line which is a godsend when on holiday with 3 young children but want to save luggage space for shopping rather than extra clothes! We really could not ask for more from an owner. Vonne is friendly, attentive, thorough & really does care about her guests having a good holiday. She responds to emails quickly & checks everything is just how we need it. We love that Rotonda West is far enough away from the hussle & bussle of Orlando, but close enough to the likes of Port Charlotte for shopping, with restaurants & supermarkets close by for convenience. We enjoy spending our mornings at the local beaches (Englewood & Boca Grande) which are out of this world, before returning to the villa for a cool off in the pool overlooking the tranquil canal whilst keeping our eyes peeled for turtles. We feel very lucky to have stumbled across this amazing villa in our search - amazing! We've stayed in many villas in Rotonda West over the years & this is by far the best we have had the pleasure of making our home for two weeks. It's spacious, immaculate, clean, light, tastefully decorated & filled with absolutely everything you could possibly need. My son opened the door to the second bedroom wardrobe (which isn't even as big as the master suits) & exclaimed "Mummy, I've found another room!".  We have three young children (aged 5, 2 years & 9 months) & having the space for them to spread out & play as well as the pool guard, many children's channels on the TV were a godsend.  There were also plenty of plastic plates, cups & bowls etc so we didn't need to worry about breakages. We ate in a lot as it's easier with our three children and the kitchen was more equipped than ours at home! We also made full use of the big bbq by the pool. The huge washing machine & tumble dryer also came in very handy with the clothes that we get through. The high speed Internet is worth a mention as its the best we've had when away, likewise with the TV options. I really could go on & on about how nice this place is. Even the neighbours are welcoming and friendly! The service - from initial contact to check out has been a real pleasure to interact with Vonn. Nothing has ever been too much trouble & she's always been friendly, quick to respond, warm & helpful. We've never met Vonn but she certainly seems like a lovely lady.  LARRY & JANET - USA We have been renting villas in Rotonda for the last 15+ years & this house is by far the nicest & cleanest that we have had the privilege to occupy. Although it was much larger than needed for the two of us, we thoroughly enjoyed all of its amenities! Vonn's attention to detail & decorating is definitely upscale & very tastefully done. The furniture is comfortable & in excellent condition. The appliances are up-to-date & high quality.
