Owner leaves brochures for deep sea fishing, touring, museums, restaurant menus and maps of the whole area. We are on the mainland side of the Siesta Key in the town of Sarasota. Beautiful condo site 12 minutes from touching toes into the Gulf waters. Siesta Key Beach, Turtle Beach and Crescent Beach can be accessed on the Key. Gorgeous white crystalline sand. A few blocks to quaint Gulf Gate Village, filled with International shoppes,local bistros and pubs. Five minutes either direction to two major shopping malls and choice of movie theaters. Golf courses everywhere in minutes. This is a lovely condo conveniently located for a perfect holiday.
Sarasota Bradenton airport is 20 minutes, Tampa airport is 55 minutes, St. Pete Clearwater Regional airport is 45 minutes and Punta Gorda Regional airport is also 45-55 minutes away. Orlando Disney World is 2 1/2 hours,
This condo rests on the south end of Sarasota just east of the Siesta Key Crossover Bridge. Sarasota has the famous Ringling Museum, and the Circus Museum, many five star restaurants and the enjoyment of the many Keys, Lido, Longboat and famous shopping circle at St. Armands. The downtown Palm Avenue district features famous fine art galleries and antiques shoppes. Sarasota is a cultural center for the arts. The ballet and symphony flourish. 5 min. drives take you to Casey Key (see the Oprah house and the Stephen King house) and Nokomis Beach - my favorite - This is where you can walk out on the jetty and see Manatees and Dolphin and talk to the local fishermen. Leave the Key and then south again to Venice Island. Continue driving south to Punta Gorda, Palm Island, Ft. Myers, Sanibel, Naples and maybe even drive on to Miami. Or leave Sarasota and spend a few hours to the north at Anna Maria Island. A bit further north is an Outlet Mall AND a Town Centerfor shopping.
