Although constructed as a 5 bed, 4000 sq ft luxury villa, "The Palms" has been professionally furnished as a large 4 bed for up to 8 discerning guests. It will appeal to those seeking a much grander than the typical 2000-2500 sq ft home. It has a large south-facing pool and deck area, not overlooked, within half an acre of beautiful, landscaped gardens. The home stands on an oversized corner lot within a quiet, select residential area. We also own the lot behind the house, to the rear of the pool area, which is fenced and grassed for extra privacy.
Three of the four bedrooms are American King-Size (6 inches wider than UK Super King-Size) Master en-Suites. The third bathroom can optionally be shared with the 4th twin room (2 x separate single beds), accessed from the bedroom corridor via a separate lockable door. The home is therefore ideal for three couples sharing, each having their own USA King Size master en-suite.
There are two separate TV lounges, plus a further lounge, dining room and a breakfast area overlooking the pool. Equipment includes 6 tv's (cable to all rooms, with HD digital cable/Netflix to main lounge 75" TV), DVD players, Playstations & CD, wireless broadband (pc not supplied) and radio/intercom is fitted to all rooms and the pool deck.
The phones in the kitchen, den and two portable units in the main lounge and master#1 allow unlimited free calls to anywhere in the mainland United States and Canada.
Five 18-hole golf courses are within a 3-mile radius. Only a few minutes by car (or use the bicycles provided in the garage) to many restaurants, marinas, tropical beaches, lagoons and islands. The inter-coastal fishing & boat rental areas and beaches of the Cape Haze peninsular and Boca Grande are a few minutes further. Port Charlotte and its shopping malls are 20 minutes by car. Venice is approx. 25 mins to the North. Sarasota is a further 20 minute drive.

Rotonda is situated on the Cape Haze peninsular west of Charlotte harbour, between Venice & Sarasota to the North and Naples to the South. From the air, it appears to be a perfect circle two miles from the coast and about three miles in diameter. It is divided by its canals and infrastructure into eight segments, with a blend of high-calibre homes, lakes, golf courses and green belt. Voted amongst the top 10 "best places to live in the USA", this area is a great base to explore the real Florida, providing easy access to the towns of Venice, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Fort Myers, Sarasota, Naples and the Everglades. Tampa and Busch Gardens are an hour and a half to the north. Orlando and the many other theme parks, such as Disneyworld and Universal Studios, are 2.5 hours drive. Often visitors choose a hectic 2 or 3 day trip away to the Orlando theme parks before returning again to unwind and relax.
Enjoy the year-long warm climate and waters of the Gulf of Mexico. You can busy yourself with a variety of activities including golfing, boating, fishing, jet-skiing, horse riding, scuba diving, sailing, dolphin & manatee spotting, cycling, tennis, walking, or just kick-back, relax and enjoy. This area has it all!
