The Palms is on Highway 27 just 5 miles from the junction with the I4 at exit #55.

Our Disney vacation home is only 6 miles from Walt Disney World and is extremely close to Orlando and Kissimmee and with easy access to both the 192 and the I4 it is perfectly positioned for visiting all the major attractions that the area has to offer. These include the theme parks, water parks, wonderul shopping malls and designer outlets and the numerous excellent restaurants.

There are many excellent and challenging golf courses in Central Florida including Greg Norman's famous one at Champions' Gate, Celebration and Highland's Reserve to name but a few and are all within a ten minute drive. Our home is also very close to the 400 acre Lake Davenport with a fishing pier and boat dock so it is ideal for the fishing enthusiasts and those that enjoy a variety of water sports including boat hire and water ski-iing etc;

Davenport, Florida, just minutes south of Disney World and set amid orange groves and citrus trees is the best place for a vacation in the Orlando area. The town of Davenport is just two miles square, but the Davenport area stretches out over the region that follows Highway 17, and east of Highway 27. Davenport is a small town nestled amid the booming growth of the Orlando/Kissimmee area.

If you want a quiet spot away from Disney, Epcot, Universal, and Sea World, yet still be close to all the action then Davenport is the place to be!

With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and two reception rooms our lovely fully air-conditioned Disney area pool home is very spacious, bright and airy and has a private screened pool overlooking a lake and grassed areas so there are no properties in front. Screening at each side of the pool area provides additional privacy.

We are confident we have supplied all the facilities and amenities necessary to ensure our guests have a really wonderful vacation.

Our wonderful Orlando Vacation Rental Home is tastefully furnished, extremely comfortable and it is set in the popular sub-division of The Palms at Lake Davenport Estates which is only a 6 mile easy drive to Walt Disney World.

The excellent communal facilties at The Palms are free to all guests and include tennis courts, basketball court, swimming pool and a childrens' play area.

We have a Games Room with 8ft Slate Bed Pool Table, Foosball and Electronic Darts and Free Hi-Speed Wireless Internet with a laptop.

Our Disney pool home has volume ceilings, nearly 2000 sq ft of living space consisting of a formal lounge with separate dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast nook and a family room with patio doors to the pool terrace.

The Family room has Cable TV, VCR, DVD, PS2 games console and selection of games as well as a selection of movies, CDs, books and games.

Our Florida holiday home sleeps 8 guests and 1 infant comfortably.

The Master bedroom has a very comfortable King bed, Cable TV, ceiling fan, clock radio and en-suite bathroom and large walk-in closet.

The 2nd bedroom also has a very comfortable Queen bed, Cable TV, ceiling fan, clock radio and a roomy closet with plenty of hanging space.

The two remaining bedrooms each have two twin beds, Cable TV and roomy closets.

All bedrooms have Cable TV, hairdryers are supplied in the bathrooms and all towels and linens are supplied including towels for the pool area.

A baby crib with linen is supplied at no extra charge.

The separate laundry room has a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board. br>
Ceiling fans are fitted in the Family room and the Master and 2nd bedrooms.

A Free Gas BBQ Grill is also provided for guests' use.

Our private pool terrace has a table and cushioned chairs and recliners so you can relax and enjoy the sunshine during your Florida vacation.

The pool can be illuminated at night for swimming or just to relax in the evening and watch the glorious sunsets after a busy fun filled day.

Smoking is only allowed on the pool terrace and surrounding areas.

There is a phone installed which allows free Long Distance and International calls.

An intercom system installed in the kitchen plays piped music to all rooms.

The door entry operates electronically so no keys are required to gain access.


Situated nearby you can find a post office, bank, convenience store, small strip malls and a small gas station.

There's also a shop, Subway Sandwich Bar, Barber & Beauty Salon all located at the entrance to Davenport Lakes/Esprit communities just minutes north of The Palms.

Less than a mile away there is a choice of Winn Dixie or Publix supermarkets and the newly completed 24hr WalMart Superstore.

There is another Publix to the South in Berry Town Center at Sand Mine Road which is just over half a mile away together with a selection of restaurants which include an excellent and recently opened Applebees.

The I-4,the gateway to both coasts is just 5 miles away.

In 20 minutes you can be at SeaWorld where you can see dolphins, manatees, whales and even sharks in many different recreated habitats, touch tanks, aquariums and exhibits. "Wild Arctic" even has a thrill ride! Or you can make a dream come true and swim with the dolphins at Discovery Cove. This is another park where your whole family could spend all day. It's not just a theme park as there's also The Waterfront which has an excellent collection of restaurants, entertainment and shops.

A 90 minute drive will take you to Busch Gardens the family adventure park which was recently voted the most popular theme park in Florida by Tampa Bay area residents. Alongside rides, live shows, restaurants, shops and games, all with an exotic and fascinating African theme, is one of the country's premier zoos which has more than 2,700 animals. Busch Gardens offers a truly magnificent day out for the whole family.

Cypress Gardens at Winter Haven was Florida's original theme park. They have daily water ski shows, magic shows and a collection of famous and historical air vessels dating back to the origins of flight.

Not far away from Davenport, in Polk County, is the Bok Tower Gardens and Sanctuary, Lake Wales. This is the highest point in the Florida peninsula and is landmarked by the striking architecture of the Bok bell tower, a gift
given to the state in 1929 by publisher and editor Edward Bok. Surrounding the tower is a historical centre and a beautiful 128-acre botanical garden.
