When we first saw this villa in 2005 we loved it so much we had to buy it. Much larger and grander than most with it's two Master bedrooms it gives time to enjoy space apart as well as time together! Originally a show home it has been furnished for up to 8 discerning guests. Air conditioned throughout and with fans in every room including the patio. The solar pool with an electrically heated spa beside it. The large deck area includes a stainless steel gas BBQ, 6 sun loungers plus 6 chairs (all with cushions) and tables. Gardens are extensive and well maintained.
Four local white sandy safe beaches within 10 mins drive and many others only accessible by boat.< Nearby beaches include Boca-Grand, Lemon Bay, Don Pedro and Gasparilla Islands. br>Rotonda is surrounded by golf courses - at least five courses within a 3 mile radius.
There are many restaurants around the local area including local fish/shellfish/crab as well as the famous restaurant chains such as Red Lobster, Outback Steakhouse, Chillis. Restaurants are everywhere and you will find friendly and attentive service while enjoying a spectacular sunset or simply basking in the warmth of Florida's weather. Did we hear SHOPPING? Port Charlotte has it's own mall and Venice which is just a few miles up the road has some very pretty shopping around the coast. There are two discount outlets, one to the north and one to the south. Port Charlotte and its shopping mall & multi screen cinema is approx 20 mins drive.< GOLF is a 'must' for many residents and visitors and in an area where the weather is good and life for enjoying, golf courses come as standard and you will be spoilt for choice. There are currently 6 courses within the Rotonda development and upwards of 30 outside within a 15-20 mile radius. From May to October the courses are quiet and tee times can usually be arranged the same day. FISHING is a 'must' for the enthusiast and each year, the Tarpon game fish gather in the Boca Pass and offer great sport to both local and international anglers. The competitions are held just offshore and spectators get a marvellous view of the boats from one of the lighthouses situated at the waters edge. For a more peaceful day, anglers will find plenty of opportunity to take a boat out into the Gulf or the intercoastal water and enjoy catching a wide range of large fish.
