The Coral Reef is located on North Captiva Island which is immediately north of Captiva Island and is accessable by boat or small air craft only. No cars on the island. Everyone uses golf carts, bicycles or walks. What a radical idea! This Island is truely the home of "Island Time". From the moment you board the water taxi for the 20 minute ride out to the island 'Island Time " begins. The pace of life slows and relaxation takes over. A truely amasing experience! Come and visit this island. It is unlike the rest of Florida.

The Coral Reef beach house is a new designer decorated and furnished 4 level pool home.
The ground level has a 1200 sqft marble patio that extends out to the heated pool and outdoor kitchen with a sink, propane BBQ, and refrig. It is furnished with high quality patio furniture and a table for pool side dining or gaming.
The 1st level has a generous enty foyer giving access to the 2 master bedroom suites and the "kids" bedroom all with private baths. Also the laundry is located on this level.
The 2nd level is the Great Room with a cathidral ceiling and Fanimation ceiling fan. The 4th bedroom with queen size trundle bed and private bath is located on this level as well as the gourmet kitchen fully equipt ready for the chef. Access to the veranda with ocean views is directly off the kitchen with dining table to serve diner and watch the sunset.
The top level is a loft with high quality sofa bed and access to the observation deck.

3.5 mile of unspoiled beach is only a few hundred yards down the sand track road Panama Shell. A pleasent walk or a short golf cart ride in the included golf cart.
The Island Club, which a guest membership to is included in the rental fee, is about 2/3 mile down "Rum Road".
Barnicle Phil's is down by the air strip just over 1/2 mile I estimate.
The best shelling on the island I have found is about 1 mile hike through the state nature preserve. It is unbelievable!
