Beautiful three bedroom, two and a half bathroom villa set on a double plot for that spacious feeling and overlooks the river by Long Meadow Creek on Rotonda. By the way, Rotonda West is one of the best kept secrets in this region, as it is within a few minutes drive of the Gulf Coast, local shops and restaurants, yet is quiet.
The Villa sleeps six people with a master suite and two other bedrooms. The sleeping accommodation in 3 bedrooms includes one queen-size bed, one double bed and one room with twin single beds. Hardwood floors are in all living areas and carpet in the bedrooms. There is a master suite bath with walk-in shower and large bath, a guest bathroom and a separate poolside toilet.
The living area opens to the open plan kitchen and both have sliding glass doors to the lanai (patio), the solar heated pool and hot tub spa that overlook the river in a beautiful setting. Master bedroom and kitchen nook also open to pool area. 6 poolside chairs and large oval table help you enjoy outside relaxation. 4 cushioned sun-loungers are included to help you soak up the Florida sunshine! The pool can be safety screened. Hire of baby equipment can be arranged, likewise for gas barbecue, extra bikes etc. Just ask.

Jetted Tub in master Bathroom, Jetted Hot Tub by Private Solar Heated Pool, Double Garage, 2 x Adult Bikes, 4 x fishing rods and a keepnet, various Games, a small but growing Book collection and a standard BBQ. 3 x Sun umbrellas and beach chairs are stored in the garage ready for guest use plus a couple of cool boxes for the beach.

The Villa is individually owned and it is managed locally so guests can gain attention if required. It is set on a double plot so you are not overlooked on either side and this adds to its serenity. The property is cleaned and checked on Guests departure/before arrival. An optional guest “welcome pack” can be provided if requested at time of booking.
Location: Rotonda West, Central Gulf Coast, Florida, USA (1.5 hours driving to Tampa Airport, 3 hours from Orlando, 3+ hrs from Miami & 1 hr from Ft Myers South West International Airport and Sarasota Airports). The villa is only a few minutes drive from sandy beaches (at Englewood, Stumps Pass, Bocca Grand and at Venice); it is near good supermarkets and several golf courses, with the nearest being in walking distance. It is bordered by trees and shrubs either side and is not overlooked.
Port Charlotte, Englewood, Venice, Sarasota and Bradenton have fine shopping. Locally, good clothing shops can be found in nearby Englewood (at Merchants Crossing Plaza + other plazas), with both Port Charlotte and Venice having excellent Malls with good departmental stores as well as boutique shops.
Prime Outlets at Ellenton just north of Sarasota is a large complex of discount outlets for major brands - adult and childrens clothes, shoes, sports gear, watches & jewllery - well worth a visit.
Historic houses - Ringling at Sarasota, Henry Ford's & Edison's summer retreat houses at Fort Myers. Nearby Theatre is at Dearborn Street in Old Englewood and local football is held a the Charlotte sports stadium.

Activities (on site or nearby): Golf – several golf courses are nearby - we almost look onto one of them, Biking, Tennis, Fitness Centre, Gym, Miniature Golf, Sea & River Fishing, Deep Sea escorted fishing trips, Nature Trails, Environmental centre with special activities for children from time to time, Wildlife viewing and State Parks (Myakka Park has great boat rides: Babcock Ranch has an open coach tours), Horse Riding, Shopping, Restaurants, Cinemas, Sightseeing, Swimming, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving from Pt Charlotte, Boating, Sailing, Kayaking, Jet Skiing, Shell collecting. Both theatre and cinema can be found in the nearby towns. If you want an Airboat ride just drive down to the Everglades for a day.
BBQ, 2 bikes, 4 fishing rods and a keep-net, pool toys, several games including Monopoly and cards. 2 Sun umbrellas, some beach chairs and 2 x beach cool boxes are provided for guest use.
Weekly Rates (in US$ & in GB £Sterling ): US $760 low season, $860 in standard season to $960 in high season p/wk or UK £475 / £545 / £595p/wk. Euro payment can also be accepted. Additional days over the weekly price are priced at the equivalent daily rate. These charges are inclusive of taxes, cleaning and electricity. Minimum stay / charge is four days.
Pool Spa heating for the poolside hot tub if required is additional $70 / £50 weekly – can be arranged locally - generally extra heat is only needed in the cold periods - if you so wish. A holding deposit is required with your reservation. Reservations are subject to completion of our booking form and receipt of the holding deposit.
