The exciting, premier league shopping is a little further afield but worth the wait.
Sarasota boasts 3 large malls and Port Charlotte another one. There are 2 Outlet Centres about an hours drive away and various cute shopping opportunities at St Armands Circle, Venice and Fishermans Village.
Tampa, the home of Busch Gardens, can be reached in about 75 minutes; it is also the franchise city for the NFL, MLB and NHL teams.
