The canal behind the villa has it's own private boat dock & leads directly to the Gulf of Mexico and is an ideal location for renting a boat and exploring the miles of canals and waterways of Charlotte Harbour, or for the more adventurous, the Gulf Islands and beaches.
Boat tours go from nearby Fisherman's Village that include trips to Cayo Costa, Cabbage key, and sunset trips around the harbour. Fishing charters also run from here; either into the Gulf or backwater.

Boat hire available nearby (no experience necessary, full instruction given).From your dock explore the islands of the Gulf; picnic on a deserted island or beach,visit restaurants only accessible by boat.
Famous Fishermans Village is just two minutes away; a complex of shops and restaurants built on Charlotte harbour. Go by boat or car.
There is a golf course nearby.
Port Charlotte has it's own beach complex with a swimming pool, tennis courts and snack bar. Punta Gorda Isle has it's own small beach five minutes from the villa with a boardwalk through the mangrove swamp.
A drive out to Boca Grande island will find Caribbean style beaches.
