Shopping: The Orlando area being the world's most popular holiday destination caters well for the tourists. One of the best retail outlets are the Belz Factory Outlet World, which has 170 stores all discounted to factory prices! Others close by, are Kissimmee Manufacturers Outlet, the Universal Studios City Walk and of course the Florida Mall which has 200 stores. Grab a free coupon booklet and you'll find all sorts of further discounts and bargains throughout Orlando's shopping centres.

Golf: Florida has to be the golfing paradise. The Kissimmee and Orlando area offers over 60 golf courses. Most of these courses are open to the public. All you have to do is phone to reserve your tee time and then turn up. The prices aren't bad either, depending on where you want to play. However, be aware that the closer to Disney the golf course is, then the more expensive. You'll be able to pick up coupon booklets everywhere that offer discounts on club hire and green fees should you require them. The best places for them are outside shops in magazine dispensers. Suitable clothing is a must. Jeans and a T-shirt tend not to be acceptable. There are many golf discount stores in the area that are worth paying a visit to, offering competitively priced golfing equipment.

Beaches: From the villa the West coast of Florida is less than 2 hours away by car. We would recommend going to visit St Petersburg / Clearwater on the Gulf coast (one of the top 3 beaches in the entire USA). On the East coast is Daytona Beach where you can drive your car right onto the sand, and they also hold 'Race week' and the Daytona 500 in February. Ron Jons surf shop near Cocoa Beach on the West coast offers 52,000 square feet of designer surf clothes and surf equipment. Cocoa beach is the closest beach to central Orlando.
