Local Florida attractions include Tarpon deep sea fishing at Boca Grande 20 minutes, Myakka Nature Reserve, Manatees and Babcock Country Park less than an hour away. The golden Sandy beaches of the Gulf are 15 minutes drive away and many golf courses exist on Rotonda as well as the surrounding area. Local boat and eco tours are available.
A wide variety of local restaurants and shops are available in the area, together with large shopping malls and retail outlets. All day to day necessities can be purchased from a variety of supermarkets, the closest of which is 5 minutes drive. The theme parks of Orlando and Tampa are all within a day trip. There is also a DVD player available in the villa. Smoking is allowed on the lanai or pool area and garden.
